Children from Year 4 came to their friends’ rescue when they made errors in their Maths work. They looked at their friends’ books before pairing up with other children to help them understand where they had gone wrong and to explain how to tackle similar problems in the future. Well done!
Year 4 had a brilliant time at the Street Velodrome today! I am so proud of all the class-they displayed fantastic behaviour and were an absolute credit to Hindsford. Every member of the class impressed with their determination to succeed at a new challenge and a few discovered talents they didn’t know they had! A special mention has to go to Olivia who conquered her fears and managed to have a go at riding a bike, even though she was very frightened. Mind you, she did have a little help from Shanaze Reade ( Team GB Olympic Gold Medallist!!!) who popped down to help us out and who gave Olivia a private lesson 😃! Well done, Year 4!!!! (More pics to follow )
Year 4 have been learning about classic poems by Walter de la Mare. We have focused on the language in the poem, ‘The Traveller’ and have been learning parts of the poem to perform as a group. Halle Morris has put in an extra effort and has learnt the entire poem off by heart. Well done, Halle! Click play above to hear her perform!
